Chapel Hill NC council won’t issue Gaza cease-fire resolution | Durham Herald Sun

This is my town and so it is truly my embarrassment to see the outcome. Failure to speak up and speak out because of fear of offending someone or some idea is no solace whatsoever for the Palestinians who have died, let alone the Jews. By not acting, the Council is condoning - very directly - the continued assault on Gaza and Gazans and the addtional deaths and injuries that seem certain. Embarrassment is no substitute for mad as Hell, which is what I am
